The most notable was Heritage High School, which was a very difficult installation with ceilings heights over 50 ft, where metal halide high-bay fixtures could not get the job done. Twice The Light’s new technology T-5 linear high output fluorescent fixtures more than exceeded our expectations -- as you can see from these before and after pictures. In one of our other schools, we ordered the light fixtures ourselves and hired Twice The Light to perform the installation. The fixture order was seriously delayed by the manufacture leaving only five days for the installation before the students returned from break. Twice The Light scheduled their installation team working overtime and all weekend to make sure the installation was completed in time for the return of students. The project added more than 30-acres to our 80-acre terminal. Paramount in this new work was lighting to accommodate increased around-the-clock operations. Teevin Terminal moves high volumes of large items using LeTourneau stackers (50-ton lifting capacity) and Hyster 970 lift trucks (45-ton lifting machines), both requires a minimum number of tall lighting fixtures to illuminate the greatest possible area. We brought in Twice the Light to both design and install our lighting. Twice the Light specialists spent several days and evenings on the ground to understand our operating parameters and requirements. Twice the Light engineers brought us cutting edge technology that provides the greatest light coverage with the smallest footprint. When we powered up the lighting system for the first time, we were astounded by how completely the work areas were illuminated with minimal fixtures –far surpassing other area lighting we had installed just two years before. Along the way, Twice the Light engineers worked with us to ensure not just the best technology was utilized, but any application that would qualify for energy conservation incentives was incorporated. Energy incentive rebates for our project were significant. Lastly, Twice the Light’s post-project support is without peer. They checked in often to ensure our satisfaction and they have returned after dark to assist in aiming and adjusting lighting to get it perfect. With such success, we have engaged Twice the Light to complete other lighting projects for our facility. Without hesitation, we will use Twice the Light for new and additional work.
